Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 July 2026 · Provider Invoice Pro

The short version

The Provider Invoice Pro app stores everything on your computer — we never see your invoices, clients or participant data. This website collects only what's needed to process your order and answer your emails.

1. The desktop app — your data stays with you

  • All invoices, client details, participant NDIS numbers and provider information are stored locally on your device only.
  • The app has no user accounts, no cloud sync, no analytics and no telemetry. It does not transmit your business or participant data to us or anyone else.
  • Backups are files you create and store where you choose. Protecting them (and complying with the Privacy Act 1988 in respect of your participants' information) is your responsibility as the provider.

2. This website — what we collect

  • Orders: when you buy, we collect your name, email address and order details so we can deliver your download and licence, provide support, and meet tax/record-keeping obligations.
  • Payments: card and payment details are handled entirely by our payment processor (e.g. Stripe or PayPal). We never see or store your full card number.
  • Emails: if you contact us, we keep the correspondence to provide support.
  • Server logs: our web server records standard technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited) for security and troubleshooting, retained briefly.
  • Cookies: we use only the cookies necessary for the store/checkout to function. We don't run advertising trackers.

3. How we use your information

  • Delivering purchases, download links and price file updates
  • Providing customer and technical support
  • Sending important product notices (e.g. security or licensing changes). Marketing email is only sent with your consent and always has an unsubscribe link.
  • Meeting legal obligations (tax records, fraud prevention)

4. Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run the store — payment processors and our email provider — plus authorities where the law requires. We never sell your personal information.

5. Storage & security

Order records are stored on our website infrastructure with access limited to us. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and destroy or de-identify it when no longer needed.

6. Access, correction & complaints

You can request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@providerinvoicepro.com.au. If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If unresolved, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au, 1300 363 992).

7. Changes

We'll post any changes to this policy on this page with an updated date.

This policy is written to align with the Australian Privacy Principles (Privacy Act 1988). It is provided for general information and is not legal advice.
